RNA-seq of WT and fkbp4 crispant Xenopus tadpoles
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: The airm of the approach was to identify genes in whole Xenopus tadpoles (Stage NF42) that are upregulated or downregulated due to disruption of the fkbp4 by CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing compared to control tadpoles. Xenopus fkbp4 crispants were generated to make a model of a novel human syndrome caused by fkbp4 deficiency. RNA-seq of WT and fkbp4 crispant tadpoles was performed to understand the mechanism underlying this rare condition. RNA was extracted from 3 whole tadpoles per sample, and 8 WT samples and 8 fkbp4 crispant samples were sequenced.
