ABSTRACT: Consistently with the observed slow growth phenotype, lack of Snf1 causes a large transcriptional reprogramming in S. cerevisiae growing in 2% glucose. A broad reversion of the de-regulated genes is observed when cells are grown in 5% glucose, consistently with the reversion of the slow growth phenotype
