Sex-biased gene expression in two Daphnia galeata clones from different populations

ABSTRACT: We sequenced mRNA of adult males and females of Daphnia galeata from two clonal lineages (9 days old). Females had no eggs in their brood pouches to minimize expression from embryos and males were naturally produced without the addition of hormones or stressors.
