Gene expression profiling of biphenotypic acute leukemia

ABSTRACT: Mixed phenotype acute leukemia (MPAL) is a rare, poor prognosis disease. In this study we analyzed the gene expression profile of 12 primary MPALs. We addressed the question whether gene expression profile can provide useful information about the lineage of origin (myeloid or lymphoid) of the leukemic blasts.
