Transcription profiling by array of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma samples with focus on extracellular matrix components in stroma

ABSTRACT: Tumor stroma strongly influences behaviour of cancer cells. Here, we study influence of the tumor stroma on transcription activity of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma cells. In particular, we compare transcription activity of the cancer cells in relation to expression of a putative prognostic marker tenascin in the tumor stroma.
