ABSTRACT: KRAS mutation is widely presumed to confer independence from upstream RTK signalling, however emerging evidence from mouse models of lung cancer suggests that ERBB RTKs may amplify signalling through RAS isoforms and participate in mutant RAS-driven lung cancer.
