DNA methylation changes by furan in Sprague Dawley rat liver

ABSTRACT: We tested the hypothesis that alteration of DNA methylation may contribute to rodent carcinogenicity of furan. Methylated DNA from control and treated samples were immunoprecipitated by anti-MeC. The samples were sent to NimbleGens service laboratory to perform the microarray experiments and data analysis using Rat 3x720K CpG Island Plus RefSeq Promoter Array.
