Inefficient secretion of anti-sigma factor FlgM inhibits bacterial motility at high temperature

ABSTRACT: We investigated temperature-dependent regulation of gene expression in E. coli. Liquid cultures of E. coli were grown at 27, 32, 37, 42 degrees Celsius in Tryptone Broth (TB) media in the orbital shaker at 250rpm and harvested by centrifugation at mid-exponential phase (OD600=0.6).
