Vitamins D3 and D2 have marked but different global effects on gene expression in a rat oligodendrocyte precursor cell line


ABSTRACT: We describe the changes in gene expression profile of differentiating rat CG4 oligodendrocyte progenitor cell lines treated with either vitamin D2 or D3. The treatment was initiated in cells pre-differentiated for 2 days (time 0) and the changes in gene expression were monitored at 24 h and 72 h post-treatment.
