ABSTRACT: Transcriptional profiling was performed on 18 cells isolated from libraries produced by culture of cells extracted from neonatal foreskin. The profiling was exploratory in nature, with no pre-defined sample phenotypes except for origin of the cells. Post-hybridization, the single-cell libraries were assessed for expression of markers LRIG1 (L+/L-) and DLL1 (D+/D-) using QPCR. This assessment forms the sample phenotype descriptor, e.g. L+D-.
