ABSTRACT: Arabidopsis thaliana plants were grown from seeds. Roots of 9 day old plants were inoculated with L. bicolor. After 4 weeks, two T. ni larvae per plant fed for 24 h. Leaves were subsequently harvested, shock frozen in liquid nitrogen and prepared for RNA extraction
