Whole-Genome Sequence of Bacillus pacificus CR121, a Fish Probiotic Candidate.
Ontology highlight
ABSTRACT: We describe a promising fish probiotic, Bacillus pacificus CR121, which was isolated from the intestine of a healthy Indian major carp species, rohu (Labeo rohita) and shown to possess in vivo disease prevention efficacy in L. rohita and Oreochromis niloticus. The genome sequence information will help us make use of the probiotic potential of this strain.
