Vascular endothelial cells (ECs) respond to mechanical stimuli caused by blood flow to maintain vascular homeostasis. Although the oxygen level in vascular microenvironment is lower than the atmospheric one, the cellular dynamics of ECs under hypoxic and flow exposure are not fully understood.
