Postpartum septic arthritis of pubic symphysis due to Sneathia sanguinegens, Sneathia vaginalis, and Mageeibacillus indolicus: Contribution of clinicalmetagenomics.

ABSTRACT: Sneathia sanguinegens, Sneathia vaginalis, and Mageeibacillus indolicus have been recently described in the female genital tract. We present the first case of a postpartum septic arthritis of the pubic symphysis due to these organisms, identified by next generation sequencing.
