High-breathable, antimicrobial and water-repellent face mask for breath monitoring.

ABSTRACT: Face masks with multiple functionalities and exceptional durability have attracted increasing interests during the COVID-19 pandemic. How to integrate the antibacterial property, comfortability during long-time wearing, and breath monitoring capability together on a face mask is still challenging. Here we developed a kind of face mask that assembles the particles-free water-repellent fabric, antibacterial fabric, and hidden breath monitoring device together, resulting in the highly breathable, water-repellent, and antibacterial face mask with breath monitoring capability.
