A risk signature of necroptosis-related lncRNA to predict prognosis and probe molecular characteristics for male with bladder cancer.

ABSTRACT: Bladder cancer (BC) is a frequently diagnosed cancer with high mortality. Male patients have a higher risk of developing BC than female patients. As a type of caspase-independent cell death, necroptosis plays a significant role in the occurrence and progression of BC. The aberrant function of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) plays an indispensable role in GI. However, the relationship between lncRNA and necroptosis in male patients with BC remains unclear. The clinical information and RNA-sequencing profiles of all BC patients were retrieved from The Cancer Genome Atlas Program. A total of 300 male participants were selected for the study. We conducted to identify the necroptosis-related lncRNAs (NRLs) by Pearson correlation analysis. Subsequently, least absolute shrinkage and selection oper
