<i>Tamarix</i> L. is of great ecological and economic significance in arid desert ecosystems. This study reports the complete chloroplast (cp) genomic sequences of <i>T. arceuthoides</i> Bunge and <i>T. ramosissima</i> Ledeb., which are currently unknown, by high-throughput sequencing.
