Obesity promotes endothelial dysfunction. Endothelial cells not only respond, but possibly actively promote the development of obesity and metabolic dysfunction. Our aim was to characterize the role of endothelial leptin receptors (LepR) for endothelial and whole body metabolism and diet-induced obesity.
