Atrx loss was recently ascertained as insufficient to drive pancreatic neuroendocrine tumour (PanNET) formation in mice islets. We have identified a preponderant role of Atrx in the endocrine dysfunction in a <i>Rip-Cre;Atrx<sup>KO</sup></i> genetically engineered mouse model (GEMM).
