We tested a series of SQ109 analogues against <i>Mycobacterium tuberculosis</i> and <i>M. smegmatis</i>, in addition to determining their uncoupling activity. We then investigated potential protein targets, involved in quinone and cell wall biosynthesis, using "rescue" experiments.
