ABSTRACT: Recurrent high-grade glioma is a refractory disease, and its prognosis is poor. Although the treatment of apatinib combined with temozolomide provides improved efficacy and is able to prolong survival, this conclusion has been based on small samples. Different databases were screened and finally, 10 studies were included, comprising 357 patients with recurrent high-grade gliomas. The efficacy and prognosis were analyzed using Stata software. The results indicated that the overall objective response rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR) of apatinib combined with temozolomide were 0.36 (95% CI, 0.26-0.46) and 0.86 (95% CI, 0.82-0.89), respectively.
