Epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT) changes cell phenotype by affecting immune properties of amniotic epithelial cells (AECs). The present study shows how the response to lipopolysaccharide of cells collected pre- (eAECs) and post-EMT (mAECs) induces changes in their transcriptomics profile.
