Coronary Artery Perforation After Balloon Dilatation for Recurrent In-Stent Restenosis Inside the Double-Layered Previous Stents.

ABSTRACT: Although coronary artery perforation can be a fatal complication during percutaneous coronary intervention, it is rarely observed in in-stent restenotic lesions. We present a case with coronary artery perforation after balloon dilatation for a recurrent in-stent restenotic lesion with calcified nodule inside the double-layered stents that were previously implanted. (Level of Difficulty: Advanced.).
