Most gastric cancer (GC) subtypes are identified through transcriptional profiling overlooking dynamic changes and interactions in gene expression. Based on the background network of global immune genes, we constructed sample-specific edge-perturbation matrices and identified four molecular network subtypes of GC (MNG).
