Percutaneous Extraction of Deployed Coronary Stent During Retrieval of Jailed Buddy Wire.

ABSTRACT: Retrieval of a buddy wire following coronary stenting of long, tortuous, and calcified lesions runs the risk of wire entrapment and stent deformation. We report a case of successful percutaneous extraction of a longitudinally deformed coronary stent during retrieval of jailed buddy wire from the left anterior descending artery. (Level of Difficulty: Advanced.).
