Corpora amylacea (CA) are polyglucosan aggregated granules that accumulate in the human body throughout aging. In the cerebrum, CA have been found in proximity to ventricular walls, pial surfaces, and blood vessels. However, studies showing their three-dimensional spatial distribution are sparse.
