The genome sequence of a ground beetle, Leistus spinibarbis (Fabricius, 1775).

ABSTRACT: We present a genome assembly from an individual male Leistus spinibarbis (a ground beetle; Arthropoda; Insecta; Coleoptera; Carabidae). The genome sequence is 235.1 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 23 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the X sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.82 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 23,576 protein coding genes.
