<i>Swertia divaricata</i> Harry Sm., 1965, (Gentianaceae) is a perennial herb endemic to Northwest Yunnan, China, belonging to the species-rich genus <i>Swertia</i>. It possesses unique morphological features but its systematic position remains uncertain.
