An evidence-based approach to artificial intelligence education for medical students: A systematic review.

ABSTRACT: The exponential growth of artificial intelligence (AI) in the last two decades has been recognized by many as an opportunity to improve the quality of patient care. However, medical education systems have been slow to adapt to the age of AI, resulting in a paucity of AI-specific education in medical schools. The purpose of this systematic review is to evaluate the current evidence-based recommendations for the inclusion of an AI education curriculum in undergraduate medicine.
