Missed opportunities in the diagnosis of heart failure: a real-world assessment.

ABSTRACT:

Aims

Heart failure (HF) is a leading cause of hospitalization worldwide. An early HF diagnosis is key to reducing hospitalizations. Methods and results

This cohort study used EHRs of a large health care organization in Portugal. Patients with incident hHF between 2017 and 2020 were identified.
