Inhibitory compounds generated from lignocellulose pretreatment would inhibit Poly (malic acid) (PMA) production by <i>Aureobasidium pullulans</i>, but the tolerance mechanism of <i>A. pullulans</i> to lignocellulosic inhibitor is poorly understood.
