Data on the demographic forecast of the Kazakhstan population.


ABSTRACT: The purpose of the study is to forecast the demographic situation in Kazakhstan until 2050 for Kazakhstan and its regions. Forecasts of population size and structure are developed based on analysis of trends in demographic processes, and their cause-and-effect relationships with socio-economic processes. Thus, the calculations take into account the mortality rates observed in 2020-2021 due to COVID-19. The results obtained include data on the total population of Kazakhstan, gender distribution, age structure of the population, data on fertility and mortality (including infant mortality) for the period from 2022 to 2100. The cohort-component method was used, and alternative forecasting methods were proposed. The article presents data on the prospective population of Kazakhstan based on indicators of natural and mechanical population movement, exponential curve, and average growth rate, respectively, for the period 2020-2050.
