The enzyme turnover rate, ${k}_{cat}$, quantifies enzyme kinetics by indicating the maximum efficiency of enzyme catalysis. Despite its importance, ${k}_{cat}$ values remain scarce in databases for most organisms, primarily because of the cost of experimental measurements.
