Very Late Stent Thrombosis Due to Neoatherosclerosis After Implantation of an Ultra-Thin Strut Stent.

ABSTRACT: A 69-year-old man developed very late stent thrombosis (VLST) 3 years after Orsiro stent implantation in the proximal left anterior descending coronary artery. Intravascular imaging evaluations before and after the onset of VLST allowed us to document neoatherosclerosis as the etiology of VLST.
