<i>Spergularia marina</i> (L.) Griseb, 1843 (Caryophyllaceae) is a halophytic plant widely distributed along the southwestern coast of the Korean Peninsula. In this study, the complete chloroplast genome sequence of <i>S. marina</i> was determined using next-generation sequencing (NGS). The chloroplast genome of <i>S. marina</i> is 152,460 bp in length with 36.7% GC content.
