Carbonyl sulfur (COS) is a prominent organic sulfur pollutant commonly found in the by-product gas generated by the steel industry. A series of Sm-doped CeO<i>x</i>@ZrO2 catalysts were prepared for the hydrolysis catalytic removal of COS. The results showed that the addition of Sm resulted in the most significant enhancement of hydrolysis catalytic activity. The 3% Sm2O3-Ce-O<i>x</i>@ZrO2 catalyst exhibited the highest activity, a ...[more]
