Transthyretin amyloidosis (ATTR amyloidosis) is a progressive, multi-systemic disease with wild-type (ATTRwt) and hereditary (ATTRv) forms. Over 130 variants associated with ATTRv amyloidosis have been identified, although little is known about the majority of these genotypes.
