New distributional data for Ceratoneuraindi Girault, 1917 are provided.
Project description:A new genus and species of Encyrtidae (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea), Apteronotus Kang, Hu & Luo, gen. nov. (type species A.indigus Kang, Hu & Luo, sp. nov.), associated with insects inhabiting Oxytropis spp., and three newly recorded species for China, Copidosomaclavatum, Ericydnusaeneus and Tetracnemuskozlovi, are described from the Altun Mountain Nature Reserve, Xinjiang. Detailed illustrations of all species were included to support the identification and further study.
Project description:In this paper, four species of Omphale Haliday, O.longigena Li & Li, sp. nov., O.longitarsus Li & Li, sp. nov., O.rectisulcus Li & Li, sp. nov., and O.xanthosoma Li & Li, sp. nov., are described as new to science; four species, O.brevibuccata Szelényi, O.connectens Graham, O.melina Yefremova & Kriskovich, and O.obscura (Förster) are reported from China for the first time; and the male of O.melina is reported for the first time in the world. A key to all known species of the genus Omphale in China is provided.

Project description:The new species Zagrammosoma dulanense Cao & Zhu, sp. n., from Qinghai Province, China, is described and illustrated. All type specimens were reared from the pupae of Micrurapteryx sophorivora Kuznetzov & Tristan (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae), a leafmining moth attacking the plant Thermopsis lanceolata R. Br. (Fabaceae). A key to the three known Asian species of Zagrammosoma is provided. All specimens are deposited in the Insect Collection, the Institute of Zoology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China.
Project description:One new species of the sap beetle genus Neopallodes, N. nigrescens sp. nov., is described and illustrated. New information on the distribution and illustrations of three species, N. dentatus Kirejtshuk, 1994, N. falsus Grouvelle, 1913 and N. vietnamicus Kirejtshuk, 1987, which are newly recorded from China, are also supplemented. A key to species of the genus Neopallodes from China is provided.
Project description:During our studying of the fauna of Tibet, China, many specimens of the subfamily Tachininae (Diptera, Tachinidae) were collected and examined. Three species are described here as new to science, Leskialatisurstylasp. nov., Trichoformosomyiacuonaensissp. nov., and Tachinajilongensissp. nov., and two species, Nemoraeajavana (Brauer & Bergenstamm, 1894) and N.echinata Mesnil, 1953, are newly recorded from Tibet. In addition to their descriptions, illustrations, and diagnoses, three identification keys are provided. The specimens in this study are kept in the Insect Collection of Shenyang Normal University, China (SYNU).

Eight genera Chaoilta Cameron, Cyanopterus Haliday, Gammabracon Quicke, Ischnobracon Baltazar, Monilobracon Quicke, Pseudospinaria Enderlein, Vipiomorpha Tobias, and Zaglyptogastra Ashmead (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Braconinae) are newly recorded from China, their 21 species are revised, and 13 new species (Chaoiltabreviceps sp. nov., Cyanopterus (Ipobracon) lucidussp. nov., Cyanopterus (Ipobracon) transversussp. nov., Gammabraconuniformis sp. nov., Gammabraconwangi sp. nov., Ischnobraconguttatus sp. nov., Monilobraconlongitudinalis sp. nov., Monilobraconmarginatus sp. nov., Parallobraconprolatus sp. nov., Vipiomorphasulcata sp. nov., Vipiomorphayunnanensis sp. nov., Zaglyptogastraexilis sp. nov., and Zaglyptogastratricolor sp. nov.) are described and illustrated. BracomorphaPapp, 1971, is included assubgenusinCyanopterus Haliday, 1835 (syn. nov.) and Cyanopterusninghais Wang, Chen, Wu et He, 2009, is a new combination. Keys to the Chinese species of the genera Chaoilta, Cyanopterus, Gammabracon, Ischnobracon, Monilobracon, Vipiomorpha, and Zaglyptogastra are provided.
Project description:Two Chinese species of the genus Lipotriches Gerstaecker, 1858 are treated in this paper. Lipotriches (Lipotriches) guihongi Zhang & Niu, sp. nov. is recognized as a new species and Lipotriches (Maynenomia) nanensis (Cockerell, 1929) is a new species and subgenus record for China. The number of Chinese species of the subfamily Nomiinae and genus Lipotriches are updated to 47 and 15, respectively.
