Project description:In the title compound, C(15)H(11)NO(4), the dihedral angle between the aromatic rings is 23.8 (2)° and an intra-molecular O-H⋯N hydrogen bond generates an S(6) ring. In the crystal, C-H⋯O hydrogen bonds link the mol-ecules into a three-dimensional network.
Project description:There are two independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(13)H(13)N(3)OS, which was obtained from a condensation reaction of N-(p-tol-yl)hydrazinecarbothio-amide and furfural. The dihedral angles between the mean planes of the tolyl ring and the (furan-2-yl-methyl-ene)hydrazine unit are 39.83 (8) and 48.95 (7)° in the two mol-ecules. The mol-ecules both exhibit an E configuration. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯N and N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds connect the two independent mol-ecules.
Project description:In the title compound, C(15)H(15)N(3)S, the almost planar 2-benzyl-idenehydrazinecarbothio-amide unit (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0351 Å) is aligned at a dihedral angle of 64.42 (6)° with respect to the plane of the tolyl ring. The mol-ecule exhibits an E configuration for the azomethine linkage. In the crystal, inter-molecular N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds about centers of inversion lead to the formation of dimers.
Project description:The complete mol-ecule of the title compound, C(16)H(12)N(2)O(4), is generated by the application of a centre of inversion. The (1,3-benzodioxol-5-yl)methyl-idene fused-ring system is approximately planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.020 Å) and is essentially coplanar with the central hydrazine group [dihedral angle = 5.08 (9)°]. Weak π-π inter-molecular inter-actions are observed [centroid-centroid distance = 3.8553 (8) Å], providing some packing stability.
Project description:In the title compound, C(14)H(19)N(3)S, the cyclo-hexane ring has a chair conformation. The almost planar amino-thio-urea unit (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0062 Å) is aligned at a dihedral angle of 45.23 (8)° with respect to the benzene ring. Inter-molecular N-H⋯N and N-H⋯S hydrogen bonding stabilizes the crystal structure.
Project description:The two symmetry-independent mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit of the title compound, C(15)H(13)NO(2), differ in conformation, with the virtually planar 4-methyl-aniline (r.m.s. deviations of 0.0511 and 0.0082 Å) and piperonal groups (r.m.s. deviations of 0.0241 and 0.0486 Å) forming dihedral angles of 19.40 (5) and 42.90 (6)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked by C-H⋯O and C-H⋯π inter-actions. The H atoms of the two methyl groups are disordered over two sets of sites of equal occupancy.
Project description:In the title compound, C(11)H(5)N(3)O(4), the nitro group is rotated by 29.91 (16)° out of the plane of the adjacent aryl ring. The 1,3-benzodioxole ring is nearly planar, with a maximium deviation of 0.0562 (10) Å. The dioxolene ring adopts an envelope conformation on the O-C-O C atom. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked via C-H⋯O inter-actions, resulting in R(2) (2)(6) and R(2) (2)(12) graph-set motifs.
Project description:The title compound, C(17)H(14)N(2)O(2)S, crystallizes with two roughly planar mol-ecules in the asymmetric unit, in which the dihedral angles between the 1,3-benzodioxole-5-carbaldehyde moiety and the heterocyclic five-membered ring are 3.76?(5) and 5.33?(12)°. In each mol-ecule, a short C-H?S contact generates an S(5) ring. In the crystal, pairs of mol-ecules are linked by a weak C-H?N inter-action, forming dimers.
Project description:In the title compound, C(16)H(17)N(3)S, the amino-thio-urea unit is nearly planar (r.m.s. deviation = 0.0425 Å), and is twisted with respect to the tolyl and phenyl rings by 57.84 (7) and 15.88 (14)°, respectively; the tolyl and phenyl rings are twisted by 65.64 (11)° to each other. Inter-molecular N-H⋯S and weak C-H⋯S hydrogen bonds are present in the crystal structure.
Project description:In the title thio-semicarbazone, C11H15N3S, the p-tolyl-N-H and imino-N-H groups are anti and syn, respectively, to the central thione-S atom. This allows for the formation of an intra-molecular p-tolyl-N-H⋯N(imino) hydrogen bond. The mol-ecule is twisted with the dihedral angle between the p-tolyl ring and the non-hydrogen atoms of the N=CMe2 residue being 29.27 (8)°. The crystal packing features supra-molecular layers lying in the bc plane whereby centrosymmetric aggregates sustained by eight-membered thio-amide {⋯HNCS}2 synthons are linked by further N-H⋯S hydrogen bonds. Layers are connected via methyl-C-H⋯π inter-actions. The supra-molecular aggregation was further investigated by an analysis of the Hirshfeld surface and comparison made to related structures.
