We present the complete chloroplast genome sequence of <i>Rhodochorton tenue</i> from San Juan Island, Washington. The chloroplast genome of <i>R. tenue</i> is 192,037 bp in length, contains 244 genes, and is similar in content to <i>Acrochaetium secundatum.
