CD4<sup>+</sup> T cells are key mediators of various autoimmune diseases; however, their role in disease progression remains unclear due to cellular heterogeneity. Here, we evaluated CD4<sup>+</sup> T cell subpopulations using decomposition-based transcriptome characterization and canonical clustering strategies.
