Multiplex Dual-Target Reverse Transcription PCR for Subtyping Avian Influenza A(H5) Virus.


ABSTRACT: An increased risk for human infection with avian influenza A(H5N1) viruses is of concern. We developed an internally controlled, dual-target reverse transcription PCR for influenza A(H5) subtyping. This test could be used to detect influenza A(H5) in clinical samples.
