The interest in the mineral vivianite (Fe<sub>3</sub>(PO<sub>4</sub>)<sub>2</sub>·8H<sub>2</sub>O) as a more sustainable P resource has grown significantly in recent years owing to its efficient recovery from wastewater and its potential use as a P fertilizer.
