Background

Comorbid anxiety in hypertensive patients yields poor remedy adherence which may additionally restrict treatment choices.

Objective

To assess the magnitude and severity of anxiety and risk factors among hypertensive patients attending public hospitals in Arba Minch town, Ethiopia, 2022.

Methods

A hospital-based cross-sectional study design was performed from June 1 to July 30/2022. The overall sample size was 336 and a systematic random sampling technique was used to pick out sufferers.
