This study aims to investigate the influence of lumbar spine disorders on the development of asymmetric hallux valgus (HV). Data from the fifth survey of the Osteoarthritis/Osteoporosis Against Disability (ROAD) study, a nationwide prospective study in Japan, were analyzed.
