ABSTRACT: In the title compound, C₂₁H₂₇BF₂N₂O₄, a highly fluorescent boron-dipyrromethene dye, the methyl-propionate moieties have different conformations. In the crystal, weak C-H⋯F and C-H⋯O inter-actions link the mol-ecules. Some optical properties are presented.
