Global research trends on systemic lupus erythematosus and thyroid cancers (1964-2023): A scientometric and visualized study.

ABSTRACT: Over the past 3 decades numerous studies have reported an association between systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and thyroid cancers. However, there has been no scientometric analysis in this area of research. To perform a comprehensive scientometric analysis of the global literature published on the association between SLE and thyroid cancers. The data on publications within thyroid cancers in SLE patients were retrieved from the Scopus database using a defined search strategy from its first publication in 1964 to 2023. To conduct a collaboration mapping analysis among keywords, authors, journals, and territories, VOSviewer was utilized.
