The Micra leadless pacemaker (MLP) has been demonstrated to be safe and effective as a substitute for conventional transvenous ventricular pacemakers (TVP). However, its application in the general population is still restricted. The aim of this retrospective study was to assess the safety and efficacy of MLP.Methods
Clinical data and device parameters were gathered on every patient receiving MLP implantation between 1 January 2019 and 31 December 2023, in the First Affiliated Hospital of Soochow University. The efficacy of MLP on the primary composite endpoint, atrioventricular (AV) synchrony, hospitalization, and post-implantation quality of life was assessed.
