ABSTRACT: This report by Maki and colleagues with accompanying surgical video introduces a less invasive surgical option for managing right atrial tumor thrombus in hepatocellular carcinoma, avoiding sternotomy. This approach might reduce operative time, blood loss, and hospital stay, suggesting improved safety and faster recovery compared with conventional methods with sternotomy.
