ABSTRACT: An increasing number of epidemiological studies have explored the relationship between the risk of gastric cancer and specific dietary patterns, but the findings remain inconclusive. We, therefore, performed this comprehensive systematic review and meta-analysis to analyze the available evidence regarding the associations between a priori and a posteriori dietary patterns and the risk of gastric cancer. A systematic search of six electronic databases, including PubMed , Web of Science , EBSCO , Scopus , China National Knowledge Infrastructure ( CNKI ), and Wanfang Data , was carried out to retrieve the relevant articles published up to March 2024.
